Balances

Crypto card balance vs wallet balance

A wallet balance and a card balance can be different. Before paying, use the balance shown as available to the card—not an assumption based on a separate wallet screen.

Why the balances can differ

A wallet can hold assets that have not been made available to a card. Funding, pending processing, conversion, network requirements, card controls or plan rules can affect what is currently available for card spending.

Before a payment

Open the official card flow and check the available card amount, card status and transaction information. Do not rely on a pasted address, old screenshot or message from someone else when sending or funding assets.

Use a clear routine

  • Confirm the asset and network details shown in the current official flow.
  • Check the available card balance shortly before checkout.
  • Leave room for any disclosed fees or merchant-authorisation amount.
  • Review transaction status before trying to pay again.

The presence of assets in a wallet does not by itself mean they are available for a card payment.

Review current funding information

Use the official flow for the details available to your card.
