Check eligibility before you start
Confirm the card has been issued and is active. Check that Google Wallet or Google Pay is available on your device and account in your region. The official flow is the source for current card-specific availability.
Add the card through an official interface
Use the add-card option inside the actual Google wallet or the verified TWCards card flow. Do not use a screen-sharing service, copied website or a direct-message account that asks for full card credentials or wallet keys.
When something does not work
- Check that you have chosen Gold or Platinum, which list Google Pay support.
- Check device updates, lock-screen requirements and regional wallet availability.
- Review the message shown in the official interface.
- Do not assume a wallet listing guarantees a payment at every merchant.
The ability to add a card and the ability to make a particular contactless payment are separate availability checks.
