Troubleshooting

Why a card may not be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay

A mobile-wallet error can be caused by the card plan, card status, device, operating system, region, account or wallet-provider rules. The displayed message matters.

Check the plan first

Standard is not listed as supporting mobile wallets. Gold and Platinum list Apple Pay and Google Pay. Platinum additionally lists Samsung Pay. Confirm the card you are trying to add has been issued and is active.

Check the wallet environment

Wallet providers can limit features by country, device version, account settings, screen-lock configuration, card issuer and their own risk rules. Update the device, use the real wallet app and review regional availability before retrying.

Avoid unsafe workarounds

  • Do not install an unknown “wallet activation” application.
  • Do not share a seed phrase, private key or one-time code with support in a chat.
  • Do not use a copied form or a link sent by an unsolicited account.
  • Use official provider and TWCards support paths for the error you see.

A wallet listing is not an unconditional promise. It identifies the plan’s stated support, while live eligibility remains card- and device-specific.

Review current wallet options

Use the official flow to see which options are available to your card.
